A Donation.
Donate online using any of the links below to Secure Site. You can donate by using Charity Choice or Just Giving - (below right) and with Just Giving also attract online sponsorship for any fundraising events you may hold .Alternatively click on the link to CAF (below left) to find out how you can donate online with Credit or Charity cards or donate through your employer. If you send a cheque and you are a tax payer please complete a Gift Aid declaration - this allows us to reclaim the tax you have paid on that and any future donations.
We are always delighted to receive money donations, but also pleased to receive donations of articles such as toys for the dogs, blankets, food, collars and lead's, etc.
An excellent way to donate is to send us a book of postage stamps. We do use a large amount of stamps during a week and any donated would help offset our postage costs
Examples of how your donation can help - £10 feeds a dog for two weeks. £10 treats a dog for fleas and ticks. £10 provides worming treatment for three dogs. £10 buys two collars and leads. £10 buys a dog bed and bowl.
The Trust receives requests from time to time on how it may be included in a Will. This is a very emotive subject that is best discussed with family and appropriate legal representatives, however a file is available for you to download or view online that outlines the basic principles in this matter. Download or view Legacy document in Word format or in pdf format

From time to time we are approached by other rescues, organisations or individual owners concerning a collie in urgent need of veterinary help where funds are not available or limited. The Collie Care Fund was set up to celebrate our 10 year anniversay at Colton in 2007 to provide financial support in these circumstances.
Online Fundraising
We have a number of fundraising opportunities through our website. Links on the Home page take you to Buy At and Affinity Shopper where any purchases you make attract commission for the Trust at no cost to you. Do remember to access the hundreds of online stores through these links to ensure we recieve commission every time you shop online.
In addition our Corporate Supporters page has details of particular companies that provide goods, services or support for Border Collie Trust and again some offer commission which helps unwanted collies, please do take a look at this page.
There is also a link to Charity Greetings.com an online greetings card site where environmental friendly greetings can be sent to family and friends and at the same time raising £1 for us every time you send a card.
Gift For A Donation
How often do we struggle to buy gifts for friends, relatives and neighbours. not knowing what they would like? How many gifts have you passed on or used at car boot sales? Perhaps it would be much easier if we asked those who normally buy gifts (that perhaps we don't need or want) to make a donation to a charity instead. How much easier would that be for all us and how much more useful would that gift be to any charity. We hope you'll consider the idea and if you choose Border Collie Trust as your charity we can provide cards to offer as a suggestion
to your family and friends. Simply email us with your name and address and the number of cards you would like.
Tell your friends
By simply spreading the word you can help The Trust, it's amazing how many people hear about us by word of mouth. People have often then become involved with, fund raising themselves or offering practical help - building work and repairs, gardening even dog walking. Perhaps you or a group of friends would like to visit the centre and see what we do and how we do it. There is no limit to what we can do with willing helpers. Although much requires the necessary funding it's surprising how much can be achieved with enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved. Remember - if you would like to know more telephone the office on 0871 560 2282 or email us
Fundraising Standards Board
Border Collie Trust GB is a member of the Fundraising Standards Board to demonstrate the high standards we maintain in this important part of our charities aims, and that in return you can be confident that our fundraising is honest and ethical.
The Fundraising Standards Board (FSB) is the body for self-regulation of fundraising in the UK. The FSB scheme is open to all fundraising organisations and members will agree to adhere to the highest standards of good practice with their fundraising and a Fundraising Promise. They will demonstrate membership of the scheme by using the scheme logo on their fundraising materials. By participating in the scheme charities are both advertising their commitment to best fundraising practices and giving the public the comfort of a 'safety net' provided by a robust complaints system
Our Fundraising Promise and our Complaints procedure are available here
