Volunteers (dog walkers, fund raisers etc.) are a great help to BCTGB. Providing extra time to the dogs in our care can be very rewarding and with appropriate guidance from our staff your knowledge and understanding of Border Collies will certainly increase. Helping to promote the work we do throughout the UK is just as important and can help raise the vital funds we need. Even if you are not local to BCT, there are many ways to lend your skills, such as personal fundraising, collection days, attending shows and events
If you're interested in helping the below Activity Descriptions will give an idea of the help you can offer. Please contact the office to discuss further or you can complete an Online Application Form from the link below. If you prefer to download and complete our Application Form, that can also be found below. Our Volunteer Policy is also available below. We are very grateful for the work and support offered by our current small band of volunteers and simply hope to increase the excellent work they carry out.
Please note that for insurance reasons, volunteers working with dogs must be 18 years of age or older.
