All our dogs are special but every now and again some extra special cases come along. We've had a few special cases this year and the latest litter of pups are no exception.
We seem to be receiving fewer calls than normal for pups that need rescuing at a few weeks old and having found a large "pet supermarket" online recently offering about 20 different breeds of pups from their "approved breeders" we can perhaps
see why !!
These four pups came to us via another rescue having been born on a farm. Whilst one pup is sighted the other three are either blind or seriously impaired. Of course being so young they know no different and their confidence and friendly disposition makes them good candidates to achieve a high level of training.
There will be some special requirements and much of their training will be the same as any pup, with some special changes - of course it will require a very patient and committed person to offer one of these wonderful little pups a home.
We will as always be available to offer as much support and advice as needed and have already been looking into specific advice and information for owners of blind dogs.
If you feel you would like to know more - or are seriously interested in offering a blind pup a home then do contact us. The pictures below show their ability in following the trail of an exciting sausage treat !!
