Situated in the heart of Staffordshire, purpose built
kennels are our base and rescue centre for the work the Trust
undertakes throughout the UK in the care, rescue and rehoming of Border Collies & Collie crosses

OPENING TIMES 

THE KENNELS are open to visitors
7 days a week throughout the year, 
(except Christmas Day & Boxing Day)
between 9am - 11am and 2pm - 4pm.

Please note the kennels & reception do close between 12.30pm and 2pm and there may be no one
available to help you. 

Appointments are not necessary but if you are travelling a long distance it would be advisable to contact our
office to let us know.

The BCTGB OFFICE is open for telephone calls
Monday to Friday between 9am and 4.30pm.
(The office is closed on Bank Holidays)

At times the phone can be busy and you may receive our voice mail. We will try to return calls as soon as possible. We would appreciate calls being made during the week, at weekends when the admin office is closed, any messages
will be dealt with as soon as possible.

If your emergency concerns the health of a dog you have adopted, please do let us know but contact your vet first or you may consider using the Vetfone service.



E-mail information

Every effort will be made to answer your e-mail within 24 hours, usually much sooner. If you have not received a reply within 48 hours please e-mail us again in case there has been a technical hitch !!.
We receive a large number of e-mails which are found to contain a virus. Please ensure you have up to date virus software on your PC and that you check it regularly.

As well as the rescue kennels we also have a boarding block. Many of our "guests" are in fact rescue dogs who have been rehomed. For more information on boarding - click here

JOB VACANCIES

From time to time opportunities to work within the Trust do become available. Any such vacancies are advertised through Job CentrePlus and will also be advertised here on our website.
If you are interested in working in a rescue centre, have a love of animals and can offer commitment and patience then we'd be happy to hear from you.
